Boarding

At Biamonte Stables we treat each horse as though they were our own; with kindness, consistency and respect.  We take pride in our care, and strive to do the best possible job.  We offer the attention of a small barn with the amenities of a large facility.  Our staff is knowledgeable, experienced, caring, and friendly.  We want our clients to feel welcome, to look forward to coming to the barn, and to not feel as though they have to worry if they can't make it up to the barn.  We enjoy taking care of horses and it shows.

We offer a variety of extra services as well.  All in an effort to make your life easier and more enjoyable and to keep your horse happy and healthy.

Full care board includes:

• We offer sweet feed, pellets and senior horse feed.  We typically only need to grain in the am and the pm.  But, if your horse needs to have grain at lunchtime that is not a problem.  We will gladly add any supplements that you provide.

• Our horses receive hay as needed, in the amount needed for that horse.  We typically hay with breakfast, at lunch time, with dinner and again at bed check.  We have several sources of hay in order to have a constant supply of quality hay.

• In the cold weather months we provide warm water and bran mash as needed.

• Stalls are done seven days a week.  We muck stalls once each day and then the manure is picked from the stalls at least one other time throughout the day.  We use ample wood shavings or saw dust bedding.  Your horse should want to lie down in his stall.

• We turnout whenever weather conditions permit.  We turn-out in small groups.  Single turn out by request can be accommodated for an additional fee.   We have grass in our pastures.  Hay is provided in the fields during the winter months. 

• Split rail fencing.  No more worrying about your horse out in those high tension fences, we don't have them.

• We do not charge extra for blanketing, application of bug spray or protective gear such bell boots or fly masks.

• If your horse develops an injury, or throws a shoe, we will notify you.

• If you cannot be here for your blacksmith, vet, chiropractor, or dentist,  we will make sure that your horse is available for your professional.  If you need us to handle your horse for them, just let us know.  It's a nominal extra charge.

• Our staff is knowledgeable, experienced, caring and friendly.

• We paste worm every six weeks using a schedule approved by our veterinarians.

• Your vet and blacksmith are welcome.

Extra Services available for an additional fee:

• Laundry Service- Need your horse clothing washed?  Our laundry service is easy and convenient for you!  No more smelly horse blankets and other items in your car and house.  No more forgetting them or driving them across town to be laundered.  Just say the word, and we will take care of it for you.  You'll enjoy your clean fresh laundry and so will your horse.  Clean blankets and equipment not only look nice, they are important to your horses health as well.

• Tack Cleaning-  Busy?  Hate cleaning tack but you know how important it is to expand the lifespan of your tack and for your safety?  Let us do it for you.  We can clean and inspect your tack for you.  Spend more time with your horse and less time in the tack room.

• No Hurries, No Worries Service-  Wishing you could ride more?  Having a hard time squeezing ride times in between work and other commitments?  We can have your horse groomed, tacked and ready for you to ride when you arrive at the barn.  Then, when you are finished, we can put him away for you so you can get back to the rest of your life after a great ride.  You get that extra ride in you've been wishing for and your horse gets the exercise he needs and enjoys.  You get more practice, exercise and stress relief in the saddle.  Your horse gets more attention and exercise.

• Grooming Service-  Keep your horse regularly groomed even when your schedule is busy or you are away.  Your horse gets the extra TLC she enjoys and you get the piece of mind knowing she is getting lots of attention and all the benefits of being groomed.

• Weekly Bran Mash- Just like your horse to have that extra little something once a week.  Have us prepare one of our yummy  bran mashes for him. We have lots of different flavor ones depending on what is on hand.  Sometimes they have applesauce and apple pieces, sometimes shredded carrots or peppermints.  They are tasty, warm, sloppy treats that the horses really do love!

• Video Tape Service-  We can video your lesson or practice ride for you.  Play back your ride at your convenience and see how you are doing up there.  Visually reinforce what you are hearing in your lessons.  See the areas you are improving in and the areas that could use some more work.  Wondering if you are getting your horse through, or are you keeping him ahead of the vertical outside your lessons?  A picture says a thousand words...imagine what a video says.

• Fly Spray Auto Refill Service- Have you remembered on the way home from the barn that you forgot to refill your fly spray bottle?  How many times have you forgotten to get another bottle of fly spray?  Have you ever gone to spray your horse before a ride and found that you are out of fly spray?  How many trips to the store have you made just for fly spray?  If you are enrolled in our automatic refill service, you won't have to give it another thought.  No more running out or special trips to the store.  We will refill your fly spray bottle for you using Fly-Bye's* all natural fly spray.  For more info and pricing: http://www.biamontestables.com/biamonte_fly_spray_auto_refill_servi.htm
